The International SF Society was a club based in Vienna, Austria. Fl. 1958-60.

Led by Erwin Scudla, it had a clubzine, Sirius, and claimed 3,000 members and branches in practically every nation of Western Europe. This membership count was probably through its affiliations, which included the SF Club de Paris, Club Futopia, SF Club Europa, Transgalaxis, Cosmos Club, Clube de Literatura Policiaria and others. The UK-based – and non-fannish – Federation of East & West founded by Pete Campbell was also an affiliate and Sirius #31 (November 1960) implies it accounted for 2,000 of the ISFS members.

This is a club page. Please extend it by adding information about when and where the club met, when and by whom it was founded, how long it was active, notable accomplishments, well-known members, clubzines, any conventions it ran, external links to the club's website, other club pages, etc.

When there's a floreat (Fl.), this indicates the time or times for which we have found evidence that the club existed. This is probably not going to represent the club's full lifetime, so please update it if you can!
