Houghton, on the Keweenaw Peninsula in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula Copper Country, is home to Michigan Technological University, where numerous fen have matriculated and taught, and the birthplace of the PFRC. A number of General Technics members live in the area, and nearby stamp sands host the annual GT Berserker.
