The Fantasy Publishing Company, Incorporated, also known as FPCI, was a small press formed in 1947 by William L. Crawford and Forrest J Ackerman (disguised at the time as Garrett Ford). The company was based in Los Angeles.
The first publication of the company was a limited edition of The Night People by Francis Flagg (pseudonym of George Henry Weiss), a small paperback, in 1947. The first regular, hardback book published by FPCI was Out of the Unknown by A. E. van Vogt and E. Mayne Hull (Mrs.van Vogt) in 1948.
FPCI went out of business in the 1950s, and sold their unbound surplus books to Marty Greenberg for his Pick-A-Book operation.
