Darkover Grand Council 1978, the first convention of the Darkovercon series, was held July 9, 1978 at the Boro Park YMHA in Brooklyn, NY. The GoHs were Jacqueline Lichtenberg and Marion Zimmer Bradley. It was run by the Armida Council.
