Damien Broderick was an Australian author who later moved to the US. His first published story was "The Sea's Furthest End" (New Writings in SF 1, 1964) and he later published over 20 novels, nine collections and numerous works of non-fiction
His novel Transmitters (1984) is described by the SFE as "a formidable but surprisingly funny book about sf fans".
