First active in 1944, Indick published the fanzine Ben's Beat and the study George Alec Effinger: From Entropy to Budayeen as well as essays and articles in many fanzines and professional magazines, including Publishers Weekly and REHUPA. He was one of the leading personalities in Donn Brazier's famous Title in the 70s and announced his semi-gafiation in 1978. He was a lifetime member of the Dramatists Guild.
