Beer Cat Scratching was a (mostly single sheet) fanzine published by Alasdair Hepburn. The first issue was subtitled "Being a Purr-zine from Al & Al", the other "Al" being Alison Ewing who was credited with proofreading. It was notable for its heavy use of footnotes.
Copies were often distributed at London First Thursday pub meetings in The Wellington.
