VCON 25 was a convention held May 26–28, 2000, at the Days Hotel Surrey City Centre in Surrey, BC. The GoH was Robert Sawyer, the FGoHs were Lloyd Penney and Yvonne Penney, the Fan Artist GoH was Shane Desjardins, who died prior to the convention. Attendance was over 400, the theme was "Mammals Beware! Dinosaurs Attack!" and it was chaired by R. Graeme Cameron. The toastmaster was "Mr. Science".
