Theodore Sturgeon Memorial Award

The Theodore Sturgeon Memorial Award, named after the SF author, is a companion award to the John W. Campbell, Jr. Memorial Award.

It was created in 1987 by the Gunn Center for the Study of Science Fiction at the University of Kansas to honor the best SF short story under 17,500 words published during the previous calendar year in English.
