Windycon XXVIII was a convention held from November 9-11, 2001 at the Hyatt Regency Woodfield in Schaumburg, IL. Guests of Honor: Kevin Anderson, David Egge, Dave McCarty. Toastmaster: Jody Lynn Nye, Bill Fawcett. Chair: Amy Wenshe. ISFiC Guest: David Brin.
Footage taken at this Windycon appeared in a segment of Dave Atell's Comedy Central television show Insomniac.
