Ted Chiang is an American SF writer. His Chinese name is Chiang Feng-nan (姜峯楠). He is a graduate of the Clarion Writers Workshop. Chiang has won several genre awards for his stories: a Nebula Award for "Tower of Babylon" (1990), the John W.
