Syracuse in '66 was an an out-of-rotation bid to hold the 1966 Worldcon in Syracuse, NY. Its competition was Cleveland in '66 which won and went on to run Tricon. See 1966 Worldcon Site Selection.

Had it won, the convention would have been called Syracon and would have been held in the Hotel Syracuse.

The bid committee was Jay Kay Klein and Dave Kyle (co-chairmen), Ruth Kyle (secretary), George Heap (treasurer), Cindy Heap (asst. treasurer), James Ashe, Ann Ashe and Jack Smith (publications) and Richard Wilson (official non-committee post: press relations).

After losing for 1966, the same group re-bid as Syracuse in '67.
