She was a member of the APA Apaloosa in the 1970s and wrote several science fictional musicals with her long-time partner and husband (2001) Mark Keller, including Mik Ado About Nothing, Rivets Redux; or, What Ever Happened to Helminth of Boskone?, and The Decomposers. These musicals were collected in book form by NESFA Press in 2003. Anderson also published a couple of stories in the small press ‘zine Threads.
