A club (formally known as St. Louis Science Fiction Limited) in St. Louis, MO, which was founded in 1972 and as of 2023 still exists. Catenary Tales was its clubzine and it has run Archon since 1977. It meets every two months.

It originated in a Star Trek club at Washington University. It famously applied for 501(c)(3) status in 1984 and was rejected. In spite of obviously not meeting the criteria, it appealed and lost and, for a time, appeared to have jeopardized other clubs' status. See Archon Tax Exemption Problems for more details.

Well-known members have included founders and officers Michelle and Rich Zellich.

Fl. 1972–present.

Club 1972
This is a club page. Please extend it by adding information about when and where the club met, when and by whom it was founded, how long it was active, notable accomplishments, well-known members, clubzines, any conventions it ran, external links to the club's website, other club pages, etc.

When there's a floreat (Fl.), this indicates the time or times for which we have found evidence that the club existed. This is probably not going to represent the club's full lifetime, so please update it if you can!
