Most of the fannish activity in this state has been in Philadelphia and Pittsburgh, with some in State College. There have been two clubs in Western Pennsylvania, WPSFA and WSFA; the Central Pennsylvania Science Fiction Association; the Southern Pennsylvania Science Fiction Association; Hexacon and the the Valley Forge 2017 NASFiC bid.
