Minicon 18 was a convention held 20-23 April, 1984 at the Leamington Hotel in Minneapolis. Guests of Honor: Chelsea Quinn Yarbro, Dave Wixon, Steve Hickman, Somtow Sucharitkul, Rusty Hevelin and Bob Tucker.
The convention did not have a chairman, but was run by an executive committee consisting of Don Bailey, Steven Bond, Scott Imes, Mark Richards, and Caryl Dixon. Its theme/slogan was "We know what we're doing and you don't. Trust us." Attendance was 1450.
