Nicknamed KenRu, Ken Rudolph, a Los Angeles fan, joined LASFS in the mid-1960s, and was inducted into The Blackguards.

He edited the LASFS clubzine Shangri L'Affaires (Shaggy) in the late 1960s. Under his editorship, it was nominated for the 1969 Best Fanzine Hugo. He also edited Meretricious and was one of the founders of Con-Fusion.

He belongs to the Society for the Perpetuation of Fannish Fandom.
