Balticon 22 was a convention held Easter weekend, April 1-3, 1988 at the Hunt Valley Inn in Hunt Valley, MD. The GoHs were Spider Robinson, and Tom Kidd. Thomas T. Thomas was the previous year's Compton Crook Award winner.

The chairman was Larry Schroeder.

Christopher Hinz won the Compton Crook Award for Liege-Killer.
