(?? -- March 4, 1961)

Arthur R. (Doc) Weir was a relative newcomer to fandom when he died (he was a reader with a large collection, but only discovered fandom while in his 60s) but in the short time of his involvement he was active in a number of fannish areas, and the Doc Weir Award was created in his honor.

In April 1971 Darroll Pardoe published Arthur Rose Weir -- Memorial Anthology, an 18-page, one-shot fanzine in his honor.
