(???? -- )

Miriam (Miri) Dyches Carr Knight Lloyd began publishing in the 50s. Her first fanzine had a different name each for issue (Mental Marshmallow, Moor Park, Syzygy, Uneven, and Q.E.D.) but were all published under the imprint of Goojie Publications.

She married Terry Carr and as Miriam Carr co-edited Klein Bottle with Terry Carr. In 1960 she replaced Ron Ellik as his co-editor of Fanac.

A year or two later she married Jerry Knight and, while living in Poughkeepsie, NY, published A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to Poughkeepsie as Miriam Knight as a FAPAzine. They moved to Berkeley in April 1963.

She had one final name change to Miriam Lloyd.
