Norcon was a convention in Manchester in the UK running from December 31, 1943 to January 2, 1944 held mostly in the home of Ron Lane. Ron Holmes later claimed that the 'event just managed to be a Convention because it published a booklet.

There were eight attendees: Gus Willmorth, Ron Holmes and Rita James, Roy Johnson, J. Michael Rosenblum, Ron Bradbury, George Ellis and Lane. James was Holmes's girlfriend and may not have been a fan per se. Others had been expected but couldn't attend, presumably because of what Rosenblum described as 'service contingencies'. The group held an auction, and visited the zoo and the home of Harry Turner who wasn't in.
