Janus
Janus (Spencer)
(Did you mean the Janice Bogstad/Jeanne Gomoll fanzine?)
Janus was a single-sided fanzine published by Paul Spencer and Russ Whitman. Its first issue was published from Selfridge Field in Michigan but in its second issue Spencer wrote
Anyone care to dispute that this is the first fanzine to be published in India? The raison d'etre for this special Indian issue is that Russ Whitman chanced to be in Calcutta on furlough, and I'm stationed near by; the Red Cross has a mimeo available, ergo, an Indian fanzine!'
