Chux Own was an apazine published by Chuck Harris.
The first issue includes two pages of Harris's thoughts on the 1957 TAFF Race provoked by comments by Bobbie Wild in Vagary. Harris said:
Now, I am well aware that bickering won't help TAFF — and I am aware that I bicker incessantly about it. For why? Because if a thing is right it's worth fighting for, and because I am incapable of sitting down whilst the very spirit of TAFF is perverted and twisted away from its original form.
In JD 28, included in OMPA mailing 16, Lynn Hickman said in reply:
I didn't intend to have any comments in this issue, but CHUX OWN is such a crazy, mixed up mess that I thought it deserved, a little dept, all its own. Perhaps we could have an award for the fanzine that most resembles what comes from beneath the horses tail. I'm sure CHUX OWN would win hands down.
