(???? – )

Alex Morrison was a fan from Stevenston in Ayrshire in Scotland active in the 1950s and into the 1960s. He maintained a library of pocketbooks and magazines for UK members of Operation Fantast, per Operation Fantast Handbook for 1953, and attended the Coroncon, also in 1953.

In a letter to Post War (Winter 1952) he queried the "Belfast 'friends'" of Science Fantasy News and asked "Must you give so much space to their letters instead of ordinary fen, or are you running an advertising campaign to sell more copies of Slant over here (there's a thought)." In his response, Vin¢ Clarke said, "What are these 'ordinary fen'? Why, they're the 80% who never write in to a pro' or fan 'zine."

While he was clearly fannishly active from at least 1952 he wasn't listed in Ron Bennett's Directory of Science Fiction Fandom until 1960 and had gone again by 1961.
