William James, a fan from Big Bay, Michigan, in the U.P., was active in the 1940s through ’60s. He was a member of the Misfits and editor of at least two issues of its clubzine, the Mutant.

He contributed to STF Broadcasts Again! and was a Spacewarp regular. He pubbed Thoth as part of Vulcan Publications.
