Warwick Snowden Hockley, a Melbourne fan, wrote the fanzine Austra-Fantasy, newszine Melbourne Bulletin and was a member of the Futurian Society of Melbourne and Melbourne Science Fiction Club.

A 2017 retrospective on Melbourne fandom said of the 30 December 1941 Melbourne Bulletin that "Warwick Hockley did not write a memoire of his time in fandom (that we know of). This is, however, the last fanzine that he published and marks the end of the first phase of fandom in Melbourne."
