The Genie, a 1959 comic fan film, starred Forrest J Ackerman, Bjo Trimble and Fritz Leiber. The 8-member minute movie produced by Al Lewis and Unicorn Productions premiered at Detention. Eney called it a “remarkably good color fantasy” in Fancy 2.

Dale Frey, John Trimble and Ernie Wheatley were the rest of the crew.
