Terry Garey, a fan, author and poet living in Minneapolis, is a member of Minn-Stf. She was a member of The Workshop, The Lady Poetesses from Hell, and War. She was OE of Spinoff.

Her essay "Why I Like to Watch Other People Work" was selected for Fanthology '89. She edited two books of speculative poetry. She wrote a nonfiction book on The Joy of Home Winemaking (William Morrow, 1996).

She is married to fellow fan Denny Lien. Terry has been suffering health problems since the fall of 2019, and Denny has been reporting on her condition and daily activities on CaringBridge.
