Tara Edwards Barber is a fan who chaired at least four ConFusions and was involved in the mid-80s wars in the Ann Arbor Science Fiction Association. She spurred the lawsuit against AASFA that plunged all Ann Arbor fandom into war. She was a member of the Detroit in '85 bid committee. She was married to fellow fan Tom Barber.
