Well, this is certainly garbled. I should return and write a more accurate account, with the help of "Moopsball the Hard Way," Keith Thorne's after-action report on the Clarion 1977 Mooopsball game, from Greasy Kid STF.
This was played on 27 August 1977 on the campus of Michigan State University. Gary Cohn himself participated.
A second Moopsball game, er, occurred on, if memory serves, Sunday, 16 April 1978, in Columbus, Ohio on Marcon XIII weekend. Unless it was the Saturday.
