A fan who works for Jet Propulsion Laboratories (JPL) and is a member of General Technics.
During televised coverage of the Mars Curiosity Rover landing, he became renowned as "Hippie Guy", sitting next to Bobak Ferdowsi, "Mohawk Guy". As an Attitude Control Engineer, Steve was instrumental in the design of the Autonav system on NASA/JPL's Deep Space One ion-engine - driven probe and on the Deep Impact mission.
Steve is active in the theater community in the Pasadena area.
