Also known as Staniel, Marsdon Stanford Burns, Jr. was a fan living in the LA area who was a photographer, mystery fan, and Jack Vance fan. He worked on many sf and mystery conventions in the LA area, usually as official pohotographer. He was a member of LASFS and was been a member of APA-L (apazine: Conversations With a Pregnant Donut Lady), FAPA and Third Foundation.
