Redd Boggs's apazine for APA-L ("Apa L at least offers opportunity to use up the items in one’s file folder of notes, first drafts, and unused material that strike one as too trivial to publish in FAPA."), OMPA and (finally? apparently, there was a hiatus in the 1970s) FAPA. The origin of the title is given as interlineation in #1:

"You’re cute as a spirochete!" — Old Insurgent insult.

Wikipedia:Redd Boggs says the final issue was 76, meaning just before his death in May 1996; this was entered by Michael Lowrey, so he should know.
