Contrary to popular fannish belief, Highmore is not the only municipality in South Dakota, nor was Richard Harter the only fan from there. Fanhistory records at least two others: Kathleen Taylor of Redfield, who pubbed The Speculative Fiction Newsletter in the 1980s, and Allen L. Lewis, a collector and huckster from Sioux Falls.
