Smofcon 37 1/4 was a 6-hour virtual convention on Saturday December 5, 2020 organized by Cansmof after they were forced by Covid-19 to postpone Smofcon 38, planned for that weekend in Montreal, and jointly with the committee of Smofcon 39. It consisted of the Fannish Inquisition and two other program items – CoNZealand Chairs Chat and "Pivot to Virtual Conventions and Best Practices" panel; there was also a virttual con suite. It had about 300 participants.
