Scott Dennis is a fan who lived first in Baltimore (where he lived in Smof Central and played a major role in Baltimore in '83 and the subsequent Worldcon, Constellation), then in Lexington, KY, and finally in San Diego. His bidding activities and fanac with Moose, and smaller stature, netted him the nickname “Squirrel.”

He is married to fellow fan Jane Dennis. They ran Smofcon 11 (the LexSmof) in Lexington, and Smofcon 20 in San Diego. In the mid-80s, they published the short-lived but influential Jane's Fighting Smofs, the fanzine of convention bidding. He was a member of the Louisville in '94 Worldcon bid. For several decades they ran Fo' Paws Productions a T-shirt, bag and stuff huckster business.
