Philcon 82.1 was held January 14-16, 1983 in Philadelphia at the hotel in Center City then known as the Franklin Plaza Hotel. The principal speaker was C. J. Cherryh and the Guest Artist was Carl Lundgren.
The year when Philcon 82.1 took place was in fact 1983: this is not a mistake.
