It appears that the bid ended before the [[site selection ballot]] was printed.  The right to run the 1977 [[Worldcon]] was won by [[7 in '77]] which went on to run [[SunCon]].  See [[1977 Site Selection]].

A bid to hold the Worldcon at the Sheraton in downtown Philadelphia, PA in 1977. Chairman: Don Sobwick, Vice-Chairman: Ted Pauls, Secretary: Susan Casper and later Joyce McDaniel, Treasurer: George Scithers. (For a time it was co-chaired by Don Sobwick and George Scithers. Other members of the bid committee included Brian Burley, Yale F. Edeiken, Mark Owings, Jack Chalker, Dennis McCunney, and Scratch Bacharach.

Ted Pauls published Contact as a bidzine for the committee.
