PgHLANGE IX was held September 20-October 2, 1977 at the Sheraton Motor Inn North, in Pittsburgh, PA. The GoHs were the "Founding Mothers" of WPSFA, Ginjer Buchanan, Linda Bushyager, and Suzle Tompkins. The toastmaster was Gene DiModica.
