Paula Helm Murray was a Kansas City fan who graduated with a degree in journalism from the University of Kansas in 1978.
She described her interests on her Facebook page:
"I write heroic fantasy; make glass beads; work as a day job for a large government organization near my home; am an active science fiction fan; am an amateur naturalist specializing in vertebrates, mostly birds and mammals; and am pretty expert with dealing with my 1912 house in Hyde Park, Kansas City, MO."
Paula died after a brief illness on December 28, 2022.
