(1935/6 – February 25, 1995)

Pat Kennedy was a fan who, along with his wife, Peggy Kennedy (née Margaret Wiener, 1929–2000), was well known for costuming and often served as the MC of masquerades. He first took place in a masquerade at NYCon II and met Peggy at Chicon 3; they co-chaired Costume-Con 7 (1989) and were one of the first members of the International Costumers' Guild, where Pat served as vice-president since 1992 until his death; the ICG honored them by naming its collection of photos, videos and costume-related materials "Pat and Peggy Kennedy Memorial Archives" and gave Pat its 2004 Lifetime Achievement Award (posthumously, jointly with Ricky Dick); Peggy received it already in 1993. Pat contributed the chapter on photography to Peggy's The Kennedy Compendium, the first handbook on running SF masquerades.

They lived in the Greater New York area and since 1992 in Portland, Oregon. Pat with Byron Connell co-chaired LASTCon T'ree and LASTCon Fore (1985–6).
