Operacon was an unusual relaxacon held March 12–15, 2015, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, on the occasion of the world premiere there of sf writer Somtow Sucharitkul's opera "The Snow Dragon."

Somtow returned from Thailand for the event, and members went in a group to opening night of the premiere, ticket price being included in the membership fee. Members also received signed limited-edition librettos. Other events included a group excursion for Friday fish fry, a post-show party with the cast, and a talk by Somtow with a backstage tour to see the massive dragon puppet used in the opera.

Sponsored by the Fannish Educational Network, it was conceived as a one-off, and organized by Dick and Leah Smith. The venues were the Hilton Milwaukee City Center and the Skylight Music Theatre. About 65 people attended.
