Norwescon 1 was held March 25-26, 1978, at the SeaTac Holiday Inn, in Seatac, WA. Theodore Sturgeon was the Author GoH, John D. Berry the Fan GoH. It was chaired by Greg Bennett and Alan E. Nourse was the Toastmaster.
