(1) An Early Club[edit]

A short-lived chapter of the SFL which was founded in May 1934 in Newark, NJ by Robert Gahr, Charles Purcell and Sam Moskowitz and later added members John Maderas, William Weiner and Otto Schuck. It never amounted to much because it broke up over arguments as to what activities to engage in.

(2) A Later Separate Club?[edit]

From Fancyclopedia 1, ca. 1944
An offshoot of the QSFL, with members also drawn from the Solaroid Club. Formed in 1939 of New Jersey fans including Moskowitz, Crain, Osheroff, de la Ree, Gaetz, and others. It did not become important as an organization.

Club
This is a club page. Please extend it by adding information about when and where the club met, when and by whom it was founded, how long it was active, notable accomplishments, well-known members, clubzines, any conventions it ran, external links to the club's website, other club pages, etc.

When there's a floreat (Fl.), this indicates the time or times for which we have found evidence that the club existed. This is probably not going to represent the club's full lifetime, so please update it if you can!
