Necon 36 was a convention held July 21-24, 2016 at Roger Williams University near Providence, RI. The GoHs were Joe Hill, Mark Morris, Laura Anne Gilman, and Rebekah Isaacs. The toastmasters were Sandra Kasturi and Brett Savory, the Roastee was Rio Youers, the Necon Legends were [[ Linda D. Addison]] and Stephen R. Bissette, and it was chaired by Sara Calia.
