Mike Zaharakis was a fan active mainly in the 1960 and 70s. He became a fan while stationed in the Air Force in Minot, North Dakota. In Portland, Oregon, he was a founder of the Society of Strangers science fiction club. He was a member of ValAPA, TAPS, and the N3F, at one time serving on the N3F Directorate. He later moved to California, where he died. Mike Zaharakis was also a member of the Industrial Workers of the World (IWW) and an ordained bishop in an independent apostolic tradition.
