MarsCon 2001 was held May 11-13, 2001 at the Radisson South Hotel in Bloomington, MN. The theme was "A Space Oddity". Author GoH was Jane Yolen, Artist GoH was Christopher Jones, Makeup Artist GoH was Carl Talliaferro, Filk GoH was Michael Liebmann, Gaming GoH was Dave Arneson, Actor GoH was Bill Blair, Posthumous GoH was Stanley Kubrick, and Featured Guest was Joan Marie Verba.
