(1957 --)

Margaret (Margi) Curtis has been active in sf & fantasy fandom since the late 1970s when as a student at Macquarie University in Sydney she helped produced Telmar magazine and contributed a story and art to its pages.

After completing her Masters of Creative Arts degree in the 1980s and raising her son, Margi returned to fandom after a period of inactivity (during which, however, she continued to write, read and perform her own poetry). In the early 2000s she began to attend Conflux conventions in Canberra and (with[ Leigh Blackmore) presented at several of them on the use of real-world magic as a basis for using magic in fantasy stories.

Margi has long been engaged in writing an elaborate multi-volume fantasy epic, Weave.
