(???? – )
Les Childs was a British fan active in the late 1950s and early 1960s. He was a member of the Cheltenham Circle and a founder of the Order of St. Fantony where he was was Knight Master of the Rolls. At Cytricon III in 1957 he appeared 'with wig and false beard, a hat, some sort of medallion in the middle of his forehead, and what looks like an embroidered farmer's smock.'
Cytricon III seems to have been his first convention and he was a regular through to 1961 – where he appears in a photo although he's not on the membership list – but not seemingly thereafter. A reference in Prolapse #7 suggests that he was one of the fannish photographers who took pictures and circulated copies to other fans.
