Lansing is the state capital of Michigan, and East Lansing is home to Michigan State University, which sponsored the MSU Fantasy & Science Fiction Society.
Seth McEvoy pubbed a slew of fanzines from there, and the fanhabitants of Annie Hall did, too. Joan Hunter Holly pubbed her ish from Lansing, as well.
A few ConClaves were held there, as was Mythcon 44.
